  3. Compare and contrast pharmacokinetic and dynamic properties of THC and CBD, across commonly encountered product formulations
  4. Evaluate cannabis and CBD efficacy and safety for common uses pain management and movement disorders
  5. Identify pertinent drug-drug interactions with cannabis and CBD
  6. Recognize the medical criteria for medical cannabis use in Florida
  7. Recognize potential harms associated with CBD product purity

Title: Applying the Latest Guidelines, Evidence and Recommendations for Care and Management of Patients with Asthma

Objectives:

  1. Compare and contrast guideline updates for the management of asthma and discern confusion between global and US guidelines
  2. Identify challenges with SMART therapy prescribing, issues with payer approvals, and maintaining continuity of care
  3. Discuss therapeutic options and best practices for initiating care, monitoring for control, and reducing exacerbations
  4. Identify best practices for improved inhaler technique, adherence, and trigger awareness
  5. Identify risk reduction measures impacting therapy decision making, vaccine recommendations, and impact of lifetime exposure to oral corticosteroids
  6. Describe roles, resources, and tools for pharmacists as disease state champions and collaborative practice partners in patient-centered asthma care
